Lenovo K8 is less powerful and affordable version of K8 Plus

Alongside the K8 Plus, Lenovo India also announced the launch of K8, a less powerful and affordable version of K8 Plus. It comes with lower-screen resolution, single camera instead of dual-camera, and will be sold via offline stores, instead of online-stores.

The Lenovo K8 features 5.2-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor (vs. P25 on K8 Plus) backed by Mali T880 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with 32GB on-board storage, and it's further expandable via microSD card.

It gets a single 13MP PDAF-assisted camera at the back with LED flash, and 8MP front facing camera also with an LED flash. It supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, and packs 4000mAh battery. It runs stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat with no bloatware pre-installed.

Other features include metal body, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Theatermax technology, Dolby Atmos, and a dedicated hardware Music key to play/pause music or can be customized to start camera, open app, turn on flash light and more.

As mentioned earlier, the Lenovo K8 will be available via offline stores across the country in Venom Black and Fine Gold colors. The pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed.
