Lenovo K8 Note goes on open sale via Amazon India


The Lenovo K8 Note was launched in India last month, and was being sold via weekly flash sales exclusively on Amazon India. However, now, Lenovo has announced that the K8 Note will be available through open sale. An open sale for the K8 Note means, customers are no longer required to to go through the registration process before the sale begins and wait to get hands on the device on the sale day.

The Lenovo K8 Note is available in two configurations: 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage priced at Rs. 12,999, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage priced Rs. 13,999. They come in Venom Black and Fine Gold.

As an special open sale offer, customers can exchange their old handset for the new K8 Note and receive additional discount of Rs. 1,000. Also HSBC card holders will get Rs. 1,000 cash on purchase of K8 Note.

To recap, the Lenovo K8 Note runs near stock Android Nougat, and is the brand's first smartphone to flaunt dual-cameras. The dual-cameras consists of 13MP sensor and a secondary 5MP sensor to capture depth information for bokeh effect. For selfies, theres 13MP f/2.0 front shooter. Both back and front cameras have dedicated LED flash.

It sports splash resistant metal unibody design with rear mounted fingerprint scanner, and has a layer of Gorilla Glass protecting the screen. There's also a  dedicated hardware Music key to play/pause music or can be mapped to start camera, open app, turn on flash light and more.

As for the other specs, the K8 Note comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 processor, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, microSD  card slot and 4000mAh battery. It supports Turbo charging and a 15W charger comes in the box.
