Samsung Galaxy J7+ announced, brings dual-camera to budget segment


The Galaxy Note8 was Samsung's first smartphone to feature dual-cameras, but it has a premium price. However, if Samsung fans are looking for a budget smartphone with dual-camera, the company has got you covered.

Samsung has announced the mid-range Galaxy J7+ featuring dual-camera setup in Thailand. It comes with a 13MP f/1.7 sensor and a 5MP f/1.9 sensor, and boasts Galaxy Note8's Live Focus feature for Bokeh shots. The front facing shooter is a 16MP f/1.9 sensor and is assisted by LED flash for clear, bright images even in low light conditions.

Coming to the other specs, the Galaxy J7+ has full metal body, 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D glass display, and is equipped with 2.39GHz octa-core processor (MediaTek Helio P25), 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery.

It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with features like Dual Messenger (allow users to setup two separate accounts for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other social networking apps), Always On Display, Bixby Home and face detection. The dual-SIM phone also supports 4G LTE, and includes home-button embedded fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy J7+ has been priced at 12,900 Thai Bhat ($390 | Rs. 25,000) and is now available for pre-order in Thailand in Black, Gold and Pink colors. Those who pre-order will get free Samsung U Flex headset worth 2,490 THB.
