Sony Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra receive price cut in India


Sony has announced Rs. 2,000 price cut on the Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra mid-range smartphones. These were launched in India for Rs. 19,990 and Rs. 29,990 respectively, and is now available at Rs. 17,990 for the Xperia XA1 and Rs. 27,900 for the Xperia XA1 Ultra. At the new price, the phones will be available from both offline and online stores.

The Xperia XA1 features 5-inch HD edge-to-edge display, MediaTek's Helio P20 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage (w/ microSD card slot for storage expansion) and 2300mAh battery. For photography there's 23MP Sony IMX300 f/2.0 camera with LED flash, hybrid auto-focus, steady-shot and 5X clear image zoom. For selfies it gets 8MP Sony IMX219 23-mm wide-angle f/2.0 camera. Other specs include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC and fast charging. It runs Android Nougat out of the box. Color options are White, Black and Pink

The Xperia XA1 Ultra comes with 6-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, NFC, USB Type-C and 2700mAh battery. It boasts 23MP 24mm wide-angle f/2.0 camera with hybrid auto-focus, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS image sensor, and with features like steady shot and 5X clear image zoom.For selfies, there's 16MP front shooter with OIS, 23mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and selfie flash. It runs Android Nougat and comes in White, Black and Gold color.


The price cut comes ahead of the upcoming festive season, and also ahead of the launch of Xperia XZ1 in the country, that's scheduled to take place on September 25.
