ZOPO P5000, Z5000 with dual-cameras, 5000mAh battery announced
Chinese device maker Zopo has set foot into the bezel-less territory. The company at IFA 2017, announced P5000 with near bezel-less design boasting 18:9 aspect ratio. In addition, it also unveiled battery-centric Zopo Z5000 with a beefy battery capacity.
Talking about the Zopo P5000 first, it features 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5d curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezel at the sides. It also gets a dual-camera setup at the rear, sporting a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and a secondary 5MP shooter to capture depth information. The rear camera is accompanied by dual-tone LED flash.
The selfie camera at the front is a 16MP shooter and features Samsung S5K3P3 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and there's an LED falsh for low-light photography.
It comes with 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage and a beefy 5000mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C for connectivity. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The Zopo Z5000 offers the same specs as the P5000 including the processor, RAM, storage, battery and cameras, but comes with a bigger 5.5-inch HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, and the fingerprint sensor is baked into the home button.
The ZOPO P5000 comes in Black and Red colors and the Z5000 comes in Gold and Black colors. The pricing and availability details were not revealed.
