Price drop: Lenovo K8 Note price now starts at Rs. 11,999
The Lenovo K8 Note was launched in India back in August this year running stock Android Nougat. It was offered in two RAM/storage variants: 3GB/32GB at Rs. 12,999 and 4GB/64GB at Rs. 13,999. Now Lenovo has announced Rs. 1,000 price cut on both models.
After the price cut the 3GB/32GB K8 Note will be available at Rs. 12,999, and the 4GB/64GB K8 Note will cost Rs. 12,999. At the reduced price, both K8 Note models are available exclusively via Amazon India (Link) in Fine Gold and Venom Black colors. The price cut appears to be permanent.
There are some offers as well including 3/6/9 months No Cost EMI option, 64GB of 4G data+unlimited voice calls for Idea costumers with recharge of Rs. 343 and up to Rs. 300 promotion credit for eBook on Kindle app.
To recap, the Lenovo K8 Note runs near stock Android Nougat, flaunts dual-cameras at the back. The dual-cameras consists of 13MP sensor and a secondary 5MP sensor to capture depth information for bokeh effect. For selfies, theres 13MP f/2.0 front shooter. Both back and front cameras have dedicated LED flash.
It sports splash resistant metal unibody design with rear mounted fingerprint scanner, and has a layer of Gorilla Glass protecting the screen. There's also a dedicated hardware Music key to play/pause music or can be mapped to start camera, open app, turn on flash light and more.
As for the other specs, the K8 Note comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 processor, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot and 4000mAh battery. It supports Turbo charging and a 15W charger comes in the box.
