Samsung outs new Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition aimed at enterprise
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 went official in August and is already available for purchase in India. Now, the South Korean tech giant has launched a new edition of Galaxy Note8 designed for enterprise and SMB market use, the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition.
The Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition gets enterprise level customization, management, support and security enhancements, making it a "business first offering".
Samsung says The Galaxy Note8 delivers traditional PC-class product life-cycle support services and solutions for reducing downtime and complexity of enterprise smartphone deployments. It also offers both Samsung Knox Configure and Samsung Enterprise Firmware Over the Air (E-FOTA) to simplify the experience for enterprise users. The Knox Configure lets IT admins quickly, securely and remotely configure and deploy software updates. The South Korean tech giant promises regular monthly security updates for three years, and purchase assurance that they can buy the same device model up to two years from availability.
Apart from the aforementioned customized enterprise experience, the rest of the features, of the new edition, are similar to the regular Galaxy Note8.
