SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick with Wi-Fi launched in India

SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick was introduced back in July this year in the U.S. Now the product has been launched in India. It is a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as wireless server, so that users can access files stored on the drive over multiple devices.

SanDisk's Connect Wireless Stick works with laptops, smartphones and PC and connects them with its built in WiFi hotspot enabling easy sharing, transferring and accessing media contents between them. You can also wirelessly transfer and access bulky files or stream media contents from up to three mobile devices simultaneously. The device can stream HD video at 2Mbps for up to 4.5 hours on a single charge. The stick can also be plugged to PC and laptop devices to use it as a regular USB drive.

The Connect Wireless Stick looks like a regular flash drive but has built in wireless capabilities. You have to copy the files and then switch on the wireless functionality and connect to it to access them.

SanDisk's Connect app manages content between Android, iOS, Mac, PC and Fire tablets. The app is available for download from Google Play, Apple App Store and Amazon Appstore for Android. The app also includes auto-backup of images, videos and camera roll.

SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants are priced at Rs. 2,790, Rs. 3,790, Rs. 5,490, and Rs. 9,490 respectively. They will be available via Flipkart from September 18, and from other channels later.
