The Asus ZenFone Selfie was launched in India last year starting at Rs. 15,999 (w/ 2GB RAM), and later it even launched a 3GB RAM version of the phone. Now Asus has launched a new ZenFone Selfie model sporting a new diamond-cut textured back, just like the high-end ZenFone Deluxe giving it a premium look. Apart from the new design, the specs of the new ZenFone selfie variant remains unchanged.

The Asus ZenFone Selfie ZD551KL is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is now available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India. It will also be available through retail outlets across the country starting September.
Asus introduced the ZenFone Selfie in India last month and went on pre-order on Flipkart mid-august. Today the Taiwanese company has announced that the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model of ZenFone Selfie is now available for purchase for Rs. 17,999 via Flipkart. Meanwhile the 2GB RAM model will go on sale starting September for Rs. 15,999. Flipkart is
currently only selling the Aqua Blue and Pink color versions of the
ZenFone Selfie.
As the name suggests, ZenFone Selfie is for those crazy people who love taking selfies. It comes with 13-megapixel front shooter with Real Tone flash, f/2.2 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens. On the rear sits a 13-megapixel camera with Real Tone flash, f/2.0 aperture and Laser Auto Focus.
The Asus ZenFone 2 Selfie sports 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Inside there is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There are two RAM/ROM models 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage.
The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 3000mAh battery gives life to the device.
