Samsung Galaxy On5, Galaxy On7 announced
Lately we have been hearing lot about Samsung's Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 (earlier called Galaxy Grand On/Galaxy Mega On). Few days ago, both were briefly listed in Samsung India website, later taken down. Now Samsung has announced the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. Both smartphones are officially listed on the company's China website.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is equipped with 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 processor paired with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. In-built storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS connectivity. For imaging there is a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.1 aperture. On the front sits a 5-megapixel shooter for clicking selfies. It is fueled by a 2600mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 has the same specs as Galaxy On5, except for the display size, processor, rear camera and battery. The Galaxy On7 has a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display, equipped with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera and a bigger 3000mAh battery.
Samsung Milk Music comes pre-installed on the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 and will provide users with access to countless online radio stations for free. The recently launched MyGalaxy app will also be pre-installed.
Also, Samsung now gives you the option to uninstall pre-installed bloatware and also lists how much space exactly they take up.
Unfortunately there is no pricing and availability details of Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7.
