Meizu m3 note with Helio P10 SoC, 4100mAh battery gets official
Meizu has launched the successor of its budget m2 note smartphone dubbed m3 note in China. The m3 note sports 6000 series aluminum unibody and gets an upgrade in the processing and battery department than its predecessor.
The Meizu m3 note sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with Mali T860 GPU. The phone comes in two variants - 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage or 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage (eMMC 5.1). The storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
For photography, it gets a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. For clicking selfies and video calling you get 5-megapixel front camera.
The m3 note runs Flyme OS 5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot that lets you use the second SIM as the microSD slot when required. It has a mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button that can unclock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 4100mAh battery.
The Meizu m3 note 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage model is proced at CNY 799 ($123 | Rs. 8,000), and the 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage model costs CNY 999 ($154 | Rs. 10,000). The m3 Note comes in Grey, Silver and Golden colors and will be available in China from April 11. As for the Indian market, the launch is expected next month.
