CES 2015 : Lenovo Unveils ThinkVision X24 And New ThinkPad Stack
In addition, to the ThinkPad notebook update Lenovo also announced the ThinkVision X24 monitor and Several accesories under the brand 'Lenovo Power Stack'.
The ThinkVision X24 monitor is 7.5mm thick, and features 23.8-inch 1080p IPS Neo Blade Panel with contrast ratio of 1000:1 . The IPS panel highlights Full HD resolution with a wide 178 degree viewing angle. There are also inputs for HDMI and Display Port as well a adjustable chrome Stand. The price of the X24 begins a $250 (Rs. 15,000) and will be available in April.
Lenovo also released a series of accessories under the brand Lenovo Power Stack. It includes10,000 mAh Power Bank, 1TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive, a Wireless Access Point and a Bluetooth Speaker to extend audio playback. The accessories can be stacked over each other to save space. Each accessory has a magnetized interlocking design, allowing them to be stacked in any order.
The ThinkPad Stack accessories will be available from mid-April 2015, with ThinkPad Stack Bluetooth Speaker priced at $89.99 (Rs. 5,400), ThinkPad Stack 10000mAh Power Bank priced at $49.99 (Rs. 3000), ThinkPad Wireless Access Point /1TB Hard Drive Kit priced at $199.99 (Rs.18000).
Lenovo also unveiled new windows app - WriteIt. the app recognises the user's handwriting and coverts it into text on the screen. The app comes with a pen input support.
