Rio Mobile, Snapdeal launch three new budget smartphones in India

Rio Mobile in partnership with Snapdeal launched new range of budget Android smartphone in India. Rio Mobile is a New Delhi-based smartphone manufacturer that is promoted by TriStar Products a beauty accessory company.

Under the tie-up Rio Mobile has released New York, Paris and London smartphones. The phones runs on stock version Android KitKat, and without any bloatware and unnecessary apps.

The Rio London and Rio Paris handsets share some common specifications. Both are powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor paired with 512MB RAM. They come with 4GB internal storage that can be expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. Both sport 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB.

Indiviually Rio London sports a 4-inch WVGA display and is backed by 1500mAh battery, while the Rio Paris sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and packs a 1700mAh battery.

The Rio New York features 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor paired with 512MB RAM. It houses 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot (up to 32GB supported). Camera features include 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. A 2000mAh battery runs the show on the device.

The Rio London, Rio Paris and Rio New York are priced at Rs. 3,399, Rs. 4,399 and Rs. 4,999 respectively. All three smartphones are now exclusive available at Snapdeal.
