LG G Pad 8.0 3G variant listed on company's India site for Rs. 21,000


LG has introduced the 3G variant of G Pad 8.0 tablet in India. It is now listed on the company's site for Rs. 21,000 with no mention of its availability. In March the Wi-Fi variant of the G Pad 8.0 went on sale in the country for Rs. 17,999. It was initially unveiled in May last year.

The 3G variant of LG GPad 8.0 comes with Single Micro-SIM support. It features a 8-inch IPS WXGA display with 1280x800 resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU. 

The tablet comes with 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot that accepts up to 64GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. 

Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, 1080p video capture and 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. 

The tablet is backed by 4200mAh battery, measures 210.8x124.2x9.9mm, weighs 344 gram and is available in black or white color.  

The LG G Pad 8.0 comes pre-installed with features like QPair 2.0, Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard, and Knock Code. With QPair 2.0 users can connect to their smartphones with Bluetooth to conveniently answer phone calls, receive notification and send text message directly from the G Pad 8.0.
