Micromax Canvas Laptab with 10.1-inch display, Windows 8.1 launched in India for Rs. 14,999


Micromax has forayed into the laptop-tablet hybrid market with the launch of Micromax Canvas Laptab, a Windows tablet PC that turns into a laptop when attached to a keyboard dock.

The Micromax Canvas Laptab runs Windows 8.1 and is upgradable to Windows 10 OS.  It comes pre-loaded with MS Office 365, has in-built 3G SIM slot and dual speakers on its sides.

The tablet features 10.1-inch (800 x 1280 pixels) multi-touch IPS WXGA display and is powered by an 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor (burst up to 1.86GHz). It comes with 2GB DDR3L RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot. There is additional 1TB of cloud storage. 

Camera features include 2-megapixel rear and front facing camera. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB. A 7700mAh battery fuels the Micromax Canvas Laptab. It measures 10.8x124.2x9.95mm, weighs 1.1kgs and is available in Black colour variant only. 

The Micromax Canvas Laptab will be exclusively available from Amazon for Rs. 14,999 starting from May 6.
