Meizu m2 note lands in India for Rs. 9,999, available exclusively on Amazon


Meizu has launched the successor to the m1 note, the m2 note in India. It was initially launched in June this year in China. The handset sports a polycarbonate rear panel with a matte texture and has a physical home button called mBack below the display. It has both mechanical and capacitive touch and can be configured to trigger specific function like tap to return or go back to homes screen. More features will be added to mBack in the future. 

Meizu m2 note features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IGZO (Sharp) fully laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood there is a 64-bit 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor paired with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU and 2GB DDR3 RAM. On-board storage is 16GB. There is no microSD card slot, instead there is a Hybrid Dual SIM slot and the first slot can be used as microSD card slot (supports up to 128GB). It runs Flyme OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture and 5-megapixel front facing camera with OmniVision 5670 sensor, 4P lenses, F/2.0 aperture and 69-degree wide viewing angle. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. A 3100mAh battery fuels the m2 note. It measures 150.9 x 75.2 x 8.7mm, weighs 149g and comes in Grey, Blue, Pink and White flavors.

The Meizu m2 note is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting August 10. At this price point, Meizu's new m2 note will be taking on Moto G 3rd gen, Yu Yureka Plus, Lenovo K3 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
