Google's Android One Program reaches Thailand with the i-mobile IQ II

Google is continuing to expand it Android One Program and the latest country to join the initiative is Thailand, becoming the tenth country overall to get Android One phones. Google is partnering with i-mobile to launch the i-mobile IQ II smartphone. The i-mobile IQ II is priced at 444 THB (US$ 125 | Rs. 8,000) and is available both online, and at select retail locations across Thailand.

i-mobile IQ II comes with 5-inch 720p HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage (microSD card support up to 32GB). It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, has dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n on the connectivity front. Camerawise, it sports 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and 2-megapixel front shooter. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery and comes in White or Black flavors.

The Android One initiative was first launched in India last year, and since then has reached several Asian countries such as  India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Myanmar and Pakistan. Last month Google launched the Lava Pixel V1, that is part of second wave of the Android One Program with improved specs.
