Wileyfox Storm, Swift with Cyanogen OS, 4G LTE announced
UK based Wileyfox introduced its first set of smartphone, Storm and Swift running on the latest Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Both phones have support for dual-SIM and 4G LTE.
They have a new PIN scramble option that moves the numbers on the keyboard around; Blocked Caller list, which blocks incoming calls and texts from selected numbers; Granular control that lets you select which apps get to access personal data. Both phone come in Sandstone Black colors only.
Wileyfox Storm is at the higher end of the spectrum and has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage (up to 128GB supported). The phone comes with Hydrid dual SIM slot, that second slot can be used as microSD card slot. Camerawise, it sports 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX220 sensor and 8-megapixel front shooter. Both cameras have LED flash. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.
Wileyfox Swift features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) pixels IPS Fully Laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage (up to 32GB supported). For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera with Samsung S5K3M2 sensor and dual LED flash. On the front sits a 5-megapixel shooter for taking selfies. It supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. Fueling the device is a 2500mAh battery.
Wileyfox Storm is priced at £199 ($315 | Rs. 21,000) and will be available in September, Swift costs £129 ($205 | Rs. 13,500) and will be available in October. They will be up for pre-order from official website starting this week across Europe. They will also be available from Amazon, Ebay, JD, Souq, Expansys and Clove.
