Asus VivoStick PC running Windows 10 announced


The PC on a stick product category has been on the rise off late. They are small HDMI sticks which can be connected to a TV or monitor to turn them in a full blown PC. Already there are a handful of PC on a stick in the market from Lenovo, iBall, Intel and many more. Now Asus has joined the party and announced the VivoStick PC at IFA 2015 in Berlin.

Asus VivoStick PC runs a full version of Windows 10 and like any other PC on Stick, is a tiny dongle that transforms your TV or monitor to a full fledged PC when inserted into the HDMI port. Inside there is Intel's Cherry Trial processor, 2GB RAM, Interl graphics and 32GB storage. Unfortunately there is no microSD card slot present.
It has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports to connect accessories, HDMI port, a microUSB connector for power and a headphone jack. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. It has a fanless design.

The VivoStick PC measures 138 x 34 x 15mm, weighs 70g and comes in Blue, Black and White colors. It comes with a price tag of $129 (Rs. 8,500). There is no word on its availability.
