ViewSonic launches Windows-based Pen tablet with Electromagnetic Resonance Pen
Viewsonic, a manufacturer known for making monitors introduced its Windows based 10-inch PT1080 Pen tablet aimed at catering to the needs of professionals and businesses.
The tablet boasts a 10-point touch panel combined with an Electormagnetic Resonance Pen technology (EMP) to ensure that the tablet can be used anytime, anywhere without sacrificing productivity. The EMP technology provides battery-free V Pen support, aimed for the highest accuracy and responsiveness. It recreates authentic handwriting and enables digital signatures, note taking, sketching, and drawing directly on the display.
With a display accuracy of 200 PPS and 5080 LPI, you will feel every detail reproduced on the tablet as it is on paper. It also offers high-sensitive touch recognition with 1024 pressure level making the V Pen replicate an authentic pen, and paper interaction, and ensures up to 10mm pen hovering capability, allowing users to feel a more natural user touch experience.
ViewSonic PT1080 Pen tablet features 10-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) SuperClear IPS display with 8H hardness surface for making it scratch resistant and durable. It is powered by 1.33GHz Intel Baytrial-T quad-core processor further aided by 2GB DDR3L RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Windows 8.1 and is upgradable to Windows 10. There is also a USB, Micro-USB and HDMI port.
The pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
