Samsung outs ATIV Book 9 Pro laptop, ATIV Pro 9 Spin convertible with Windows 10


Samsung has added two new laptops to its ATIV Book 9 lineup- the ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin. Both run Windows 10. The ATIV Book 9 Spin is a convertible laptop, featuring a 360 degree hinge for its screen for use in tented and tablet mode.

 The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro is the more capable member of the duo and is meant for power users. It sports a 15.6” 4K Display (3840x2160) and is equipped with Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor with NVIDIA GeFore GTX950M, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Other features include reversible USB Type C port, quad speakers and a WiFi booster. The battery life of the notebook is rated at up to 6.5 hours. All this is squeezed into a 4.45 pound all-aluminum body.
Samsung Ativ Pro 9 Spin has a 13.3-inch QHD+ display and is powered by an Intel Core i7-65008U CPU with Intel HD Graphics 520, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.  It has a slightly longer battery life at up to 7.3 hours  It also sports an all-aluminum body, measuring about 0.6 inches thick and weighing 2.87 pounds

 The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro and Ativ Book 9 Spin are priced at $1599 and $1399 respectively. Both laptops will be available in the U.S from Best Buy and Samsung.com by the end of November.
