Panasonic Eluga Mark with fingerprint sensor, Android for work launched at Rs. 11,990


Panasonic's latest smartphone offering to the Indian market is the Eluga Mark. The main highlight of the phone is that it comes with enhanced security features including a fingerprint sensor at the back panel, which can store up to eight different fingerprints. It also offers Android-for-Work support for enhanced IT-related security and BYOD (bring your own device) compatibility for private smart devices to operate on secure corporate networks. 

The Eluga Mark also offers support for dual-SIM, 4G LTE connectivity and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the brands's FitHome UI on top and enables single thumb-flick access to apps on the home screen.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. For photography it sports 13-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED flash and for clicking selfies you get a 5-megapixel front camera.

Apart from 4G LTE, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity. USB OTG is also supported. It is fueled by 2500mAh mAh battery and comes in Royal Gold and Metallic Grey colors.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark has been priced at Rs. 11,990 and is now available via offline and online stores.

  1. Panasonic has expanded its Eluga series of smartphones with the launch of Panasonic Eluga Mark in India. Highlight of this smartphone is its fingerprint sensor on the rear.
