Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 with Full HD display, metal body announced
Huawei has announced the MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet at CES 2016. The tablet sports a full metal body with curved edges and rich sandblasted finish, and has a thickness of just 7.35mm. It comes in two models - WiFi (silver color) and 4G LTE (gold color)
The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 features 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200) IPS display and is powered by 2GHz Kirin 930 64-bit octa-core SoC with Mali-T628 GPU. It comes in two RAM/ROM models - 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage and 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top.
For photography, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing snapper. Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/b, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/aGPS and an optional 4G LTE. It is fueled by 6600mAh battery.
The tablet has four speakers with Intelligent Power Amplifier, Clari-fi Audio Restoration and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound, tuned by Harman/Kardon for enhanced audio performance.The high end tablet model comes with an active Stylus.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 will be available in the U.S sometime in Q1 2016. Prices are as follows-
