Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S Windows 10 tablet gets official
Samsung has announced the Galaxy TabPro S, it's first 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet, to take on the likes of Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and Apple's iPad Pro.
The tablet comes with a full-sized keyboard cover that has flexible hinge, that enable dual-angle viewing. The keyboard has a touchpad and connects to the tablet via Pogo Pin that eliminates the need for charging or pairing seperately.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro 2 features 12-inch (2160 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 2.2GHz dual-core 6th Generation Intel Core M processor paired with 4GB RAM. It comes with 128GB or 256GB SSD storage and runs Windows 10/Windows 10 Pro. It is equipped with 5-megapixel rear and front facing camera each.
On the connectivity front the tablet supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO, WiFi Direct, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1 and has an options LTE Cat 6. support. The 5200mAh battery offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life and can be fully charged in 2.5 hours.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S WiFi and LTE models will be available globally starting from February 2016. It comes in Black and White colors. A multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen will also be available for purchase separately. Samsung is yet to reveal the pricing details.
