OnePlus 2, OnePlus X gets $50 price cut ahead of OnePlus 3 launch


OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus 3, however the official date is yet to be known, but according to reports that launch could happen on June 14. Now ahead of the OnePlus 3 launch, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X smartphone have received a $50 price cut. 

The OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X are now available for $299 (down from $349) and $199 (down from $249) respectively from the company's global website OnePlus.net. It's worth noting that the OnePlus One is out of stock (priced at $249).

Unfortunately Indian customer will have to wait for a while, since OnePlus sells it product in the country via Amazon India, and we can expect the announcement to be made within the next few days.

OnePlus also said that customers who purchased the OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X within the last 14 days are also eligible for the price cut. They will have to contact customer support and request for the refund on the price difference.

To recap the specs, the OnePlus 2 comes with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 3300mAh battery, while the OnePlus X comes with 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and 2525mAh battery.
