Asus ZenPad 3S 10 tablet with 9.7-inch display, Android Marshmallow announced

Asus along with introducing the Snapdragon 821-powered ZenFone 3 Deluxe, also unveiled a new high-end 9.7-inch tablet dubbed ZenPad 3S 10. It sports a 7.15mm thin aluminum body and has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button.

The ZenPad 3S 10 has a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 pixel LCD display and is powered by 2.1GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT816 processor backed by PowerVR GX6250 GPU and 4GB RAM. There's 32GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

For imaging, there's 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C for connectivity. It is fueled by 5900mAh battery (up to 10 hours battery life) w/ Quick Charge 3.0 support and comes with DTS audio with support for 24-bit/192 kHz audio output via headset jack.

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is priced at NT 10,990 ($342 | Rs. 23,000) in its home market Taiwan, and will be available sometime in August. Global availability details are not known.
