Alcatel A3 XL is a mid-range 6-inch phablet running Android Nougat


Alcatel at the ongoing CES 2017 has launched a budget phablet called A3 XL. Aimed at multimedia consumption due to its large display, the A3 XL runs Android 7.0 Nougat, supports 4G LTE and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The Alcatel A3 XL features 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735B processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 1GB RAM. Storage capacity on-board is 8GB, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter accompanied by LED flash as well. Apart from 4G LTE, the phone supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The 3000mAh battery is packed inside a body that's 7.9mm thick. It also has a slightly curved back panel and round corners for better grip.

The Alcatel A3 XL is priced at $200 (Rs. 13,500) and will be available in Asia Pacific, Middle East, African and Latin America region during Q1 2017.
