Lenovo P2 with 5100mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 16,999

The battery-centric Lenovo P2 has finally reached Indian shores. The P2 will be available in two variants in the country priced at Rs. 16,999 for the 3GB model and 17,999 for the 4GB model. It will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart starting mid-night tonight in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey hues.

The main highlight of Lenovo P2 is its beefy 5100mAh battery, rated to deliver up to three days of talk time on 4G, over 18 hours of continuous video playback and up to 32 days of standby time. There's supports for fast charging via the bundled 24-watt charger, which promises up to 10 hours of usage in just 15 minutes of charge and can fully charge the device in under 90 minutes.

Thanks to the bigger batter capacity, the P2 can be used to charge other devices via OTA. The phone also features a dedicated power saver mode.

Coming to the other specs, the Lenovo P2 sports  metal unibody design and includes a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button. It features 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and 32GB storage.

For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front shooter. It runs Android Marshmallow and comes with microSD card slot for storage expansion, dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE support and NFC.
