HTC U Play gets Rs.10,000 price cut, now available for Rs. 29,990 on Amazon India


Last month HTC reduced the price of U Ultra, from the launch price of Rs. 59,990 to Rs. 52,990 (Rs. 7,000 off) in India. Now the mid-range HTC U Play is receiving a price cut for Rs. 10,000.

The HTC U Play, which was launched for Rs. 39,990 back in February, is now available at a reduced price of Rs. 29,990 exclusively on Amazon India in Sapphire Blue and Brilliant Black hues. Additionally, Amazon India is offering up to Rs. 2,300 Amazon Pay cashback on purchasing the device under credit card EMI's and one-year free insurance coverage for accidental and liquid damages by Cover Plus.

To recap the specs, HTC U Play features 5.2-inch Full HD display and powered by MediaTek Helio P10 chip. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage, and comes with 16MP f/2.0 PDAF rear camera w/ dual-tone LED flash, OIS, BSI sensor, and 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera with BSI sensor. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.

Other specs include hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner.
