It is no doubt, Nokia will receive tough competition from Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi which has a huge fan base in India. Considering the specs and pricing of Nokia's new Android smartphones are no match for Xiaomi smartphones like the Redmi 4, Redmi Note 3 or Redmi Note 4. But Nokia is not here to play the number games like providing more megapixels in camera, or more gigahertz in processor.
Nokia's main focus will be its brand value, great design, provide better after sale services and deliver regular and faster Android updates, a department where Xiaomi is very backwards. However, the main threat is going to be another reputable brand, Motorola. It not only offers decent hardwares, but also better after sale service, and regular Android updates.
