Google Home Mini smart speaker, new Daydream View VR headset leaked

Google has an event on October 4, where it will introduce the next gen Pixel phones and a convertible Chromebook called Pixelbook. In addition, the company will reportedly launch new Daydream View VR headset, and Google Home Mini smart speaker. DroidLife has shared press render and few details of these devices.

The Google Home Mini speaker, will be a compact and affordable version of Google Home, and will compete with Amazon's Echo Dot. Just like its bigger sibling, Google Home Mini will be integrated with Google Assistant, and allow you to give voice  commands to control smart home appliance, ask questions, play music, set reminders and more. The image shared by the publication show the Google Home Mini with fabric speaker grill on top with three micro LED lights, and plastic base at the bottom.

It will cost $49 (Rs. 3,000) and will be available in Chalk, Charcoal and Coral colors.

Coming to the new Google Daydream ViewVR headset, it will be slightly costlier at $99 (Rs. 6,300), $20 more than its predecessor, and come in three colors: Charcoal, Fog and Coral. It will have the same design as its predecessor, but will be made of nylon fabric instead of jersey. The new material is said to withstand sweat over a long period of time. It will also come with a controller.

As mentioned earlier both the devices will see the light of the day on October 4.
