Moto X4 launching in India on October 3

Moto India for the last few days has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone with a series of teasers on its social channels. And to no surprise it's the Moto X4. The company has also sent out invites for the launch of the device on October 3 in the country.

The Moto X4 was initially introduced at IFA 2017 and boasts premium metal and glass design, dual-cameras, IP68 water and dust resistance, selfie flash and the ability to connect up to four Bluetooth audio devices simultaneously and play the same music through all, thanks to Bluetooth 5.0.

The dual-camera at the back sports a 12MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size plus an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view. The dual-cameras will have the ability to add depth of field effects, take portraits and black & white image, much like other  dual-camera phones and are further assisted by 4K video recording, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.

Other specs includes 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 16MP selfie camera, dual-SIM, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery with TurboCharging.

The Moto X4 comes in two RAM/Storage configurations: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB in Super Black and Sterling Blue colors. The price starts at 399 Euros (Rs. 30,000) in the Europe, so the Indian pricing can be expected to be below Rs. 30,000. We will get to know all official details regarding availability and pricing early next month.
