The Gionee Elife E8 was introduced to the world back in June, this year and won rave reviews for its design, superb camera and overall functionality. Now, the Elife E8 has made its way to Indian market.
Gionee Elife E8 is equippd with a 24-megapixel rear camera which is capable of capturing 120-megapixel images. It also offers high-speed auto focus between 0.08 seconds and 0.2 seconds and can record 4K video. The rear camera also features OIS, a 6P lens, dual-tone LED flash and a sapphire glass lens cover. On the front sits a 8-megapixel shooter.

MediaTek Helio X 10 (MT6795) processor paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU and
3GB RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage and microSD card
slot for storage expansion of up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop
with Amigo UI 3.1 on top.
Connectivity features include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE,
Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS and NFC. A 3520mAh battery fuels the Elife E8.
The Elife E8 sports an aluminum magnesium alloy frame. It also has a 'biological' fingerprint rear on the back, just below the camera and NXP Smart PA audio chip, stereo speakers with DTS support.
Price at Rs. 34,999, Gionee Elife E8 will be available exclusively from Snapdeal starting October. It comes in Golden color only.
Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has announced that it would launch the Gionee Elife E8, in India on October 8. The company has sent out invites for the same. The Gionee Elife E8 was announced back in June in China for 3999 RMB (Rs. 41,000) and is the successor to the Elife E7 and, won rave reviews for its design, superb camera and overall functionality.
Gionee Elife E8 features 6-inch Quad HD display w/ Corning Gorilla Glass
3 protection and is equipped with 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10
processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.
It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1 on top. It sports 23.7MP
(w/ dual tone) LED flash rear and 8MP front facing camera. It has
dual-SIM slot, Fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE support and is fueled by
3520mAh battery.
Interestingly, it is expected to be online exclusive, something we have never seen from Gionee in the past. The company has announced that it will tie-up with a leading e-commerce player in India to sell the smartphone. It could be Flipkart, as it is listed on the e-commerce site.
The announcement comes just a few weeks
after Gionee announced its plans to make some of its handsets in
India.

The Phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back for secure locking. Gionee has partnered with WeBank to launch Gionee Wallet. It also has dual stereo speakers with
DTS support.
Gionee's Elife E8 is priced at 3999 Yuan ($640 | Rs. 41,000) and will hit the shelves starting July 15.
