Samsung recently started rolling out Android Marshmallow update to Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+ in India. Now the Galaxy Note5 has also started receiving the Android Marshmallow update.
The Android Marshmallow OTA update for the Galaxy Note5 weighs at 1.26GB in size and also includes Android security patch for March 2016. The firmware version after the update will be N920GDDU2BPC4.
The Marshmallow update for Galaxy Note5, brings features such as Google Now on Tap, advanced app permissions, Doze, updated interface, new Samsung browser, cross-app functionality, ability to disable fast charging and easy access to quick toggles. It also includes updated visual interface including new animations that are present on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.
If you have not been notified of the update yet, you can head into the Settings » About device » Software update menu and hit the Update now button to get it. To download the update make sure you are connected to WiFi network.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy note5 for the Indian market. It was announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event last month along with the Galaxy S6 edge+ that was launched in India recently for Rs. 57,900.
The Galaxy note5 has been priced at Rs. 53,900 for the 32GB model and Rs. 59,900 for the 64GB model. It will be available for purchase in India starting September 20 for which pre-order are now open. top, and sports a new S Pen, which sits at the bottom of the device and
can be 'clicked' open like you would a ball point pen. Now, you can write with the S Pen without unlocking the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 features the usual
5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display as its predecessor
with a
pixel density of 515ppi. Inside there is 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420

SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53

For imaging, there is a 16-megapixel
rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, OIS, phase detection, 4K video
recording and brings auto real-time HDR option. On the front there is a
5-megapixel shooter with aperture f/1.9 for taking selfies and for
video calls. The camera app can be opened with a
double press on the home button, which also features the fingerprint
sensor.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy
Note5 supports 4G LTE Cat. 9 or Cat. 6 modems depending on the market.
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth
4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, MST GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0.
Fuelling the Note5 is a 3000mAh battery and there is support for both Qi

Charging technology, wired charging will deliver a full charge in 90 minutes, and wireless charging a full charge in 120

Before we get to see the big Apple day on September 8, Samsung is bringing the Galaxy note5 to India, just a day before. The South Korean tech giant has sent out invite for an event taking place on September 7 in the national capital to launch the note5.
The note5 was launched last month at an Unpacked event in New York alongside the Galaxy S6 edge+, and is already up for purchase in the U.S. Three weeks ago, the Galaxy S6 edge+ was launched in India for Rs. 57,900.

The Galaxy note5 is expected to be priced around 55,000 for the Indian market. However, all the official details on pricing and availability will be outed on September 7.
