Xiaomi released the Mi 4 in July last year and earlier this year in January, the company launched premium smartphone under the Note Series dubbed Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. Soon after, reports indicated that Xiaomi is working on Mi series flagship the Mi 5. The Mi 5 is said to come in two model - the standard Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus.
Now details of two Xiaomi handset have surfaced online - Mi 5 Plus which got certified by China's TENAA and Xiaomi handset codenamed Libra got benchmarked, which could be the top end variant of Mi 4i.
Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, as per TENAA listing will feature 5.7-inch 1440p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and powered by 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM. Onboard storage is 64GB and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Camerawise it sports 13-megapixel camera on the rear with dual tone LED flash and 4-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, GPS/GLONASS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. There is no mention of the battery, but according to rumors it will be fueled by 3500mAh battery. On the physical side, the handset measures 155.1 x 77.6 x 6.95mm, weighs 160 grams and comes in Black and White colors.
The second device Xiaomi Libra, as per Geekbench will run MIUI version based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will be powered by 1.4GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2GB RAM. Conisdering that Xiaomi's next flasgship is rumored to feature Snapdragon 810 processor, we can assume that this Xiaomi handset is a mid-range smartphone, could be the Mi 4i successor.
Since none of the information has been made official by Xiaomi, these are just rumors, so take all these leaks with a pinch of salt.

New details of Xiaomi's upcoming flagship Mi 5 have surfaced online via Chinese social media website Weibo. According to the report Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched in July alongside a bigger variant dubbed Mi 5 Plus.
According to the leaked details, the Mi 5 features a 5.2-inch display (unknown resolution) and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM. The phone will come equipped with 16-megapixel OIS camera and will be fuelled by 3000mAh battery.
The Mi 5 Plus on the other hand is rumored to sport a 6-inch bezel-less edge-to-edge display with quad-HD resolution (2,560x1,440 pixels). It will come with 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 16-megapixel camera with OIS will handle the rear camera department. It will pack a bigger battery to push the extra pixels.
In addition recent reports have indicated that Xiaomi's upcoming flagship smartphone will have finger print sensors. A Xiaomi's patent detailing fingerprint recognition method via phones button was spotted at China's State Intellectual property office. The paten filing document read-

connected fingerprint sensor for fingerprint recognition sensor and the

We suggest that all these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt, since nothing is officially confirmed yet.
