The Oppo R7 Plus was launched in China back in May and reached Indian shores in September.
Now Oppo has introduced a refreshed model of the R7 Plus with beefed
up specs. The new model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage
as compared to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage in the earlier variant. The rest
of specs remain the same.
The Oppo R7 Plus features 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There is also a China Unicom variant with a MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core SoC. The device runs Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, laser auto focus, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.2 aperture. On the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter for clicking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 4100mAh battery which supports VOOC rapid charge support. The phone also has a Fingerprint sensor which is located at the back below the primary camera.
The Oppo R7 Plus w/ 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2999 ($483 | Rs. 31,000) for the China Unicom variant and CNY 3299 ($510 | Rs. 34,000) for the international variant. It comes in Golden color and is available for pre-order from the Oppo website in China and goes on sale later this month.
China-based smartphone maker Oppo launched the R7 Lite and R7 Plus for the Indian market. The two mid-range device runs Android Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 and supports Indian 4G LTE bands. The
R7 Lite and R7 plus sport metallic unibody constructions with chamfered sides
and sculpted profiles. The front is covered by 2.5D glass, and the
metallic back features similar curved edge.

The phone also has a Fingerprint sensor which is located below the primary camera for extra security. It also supports VOOC flash charging technology, which is, rated to deliver two hours of
talk time in five minutes of charging, and charge the handset by 75
percent in 30 minutes.
Oppo R7 Lite comes with 5-inch HD 720p Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.3GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor further aided by Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card. It also comes with Hybrid dual-SIM slot where the second nano SIM slot can also be used as microSD card slot. Camerwise, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front shooter. It includes the same connectivity suite that comes in R7 Plus. It is backed by 2320mAH battery.
The Oppo R7 Lite and R7 Plus are priced at Rs. 17,900 and 29,000 accordingly. The R7 Lite will go on sale from September 10 and the R7 Plus will go on sale starting September 25. Both phones come in Gold or Silver colors.
Oppo R7 is one of the most leaked devices of the year. Several images and videos of the R7 appeared online. When the smartphone appeared first everyone thought it was bezel-less. But that was not the case. It actually had bezels on its sides, the curved glass edge refract light on the sides of the device to give the bezel-free effect.

It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Color OS 2.1 on top and supports dual-SIM (Micro + nano)

Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 2320mAh battery that supports VOOC Rapid Charge that is capable of charging battery from 0 - 75% in 30 minutes.
On the other hand, the Oppo R7 Plus sports 6-inch (1080x1920) pixels full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 32GB internal storage, 4100mAh battery (supports VOOC Rapide charge) Android Lollipop and finger print sensor (on the back). The nano-SIM slot can be used as microSD card slot when required. Rest of the specs are similar to that of Oppo R7.
The Oppo R7 is priced 2499 Yuan ($400 | Rs. 25,600) and the R7 Plus is priced at 2999 Yuan ($480 | Rs. 30,000). Both will come in Gold and Silver colors and will is available to pre-order on JD.com and Oppostyle.com from today. The R7 will be available from June 15, while the R7 Plus will release in mid-August.
