Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 1s To Go On Sale via Flipkart on January 6 in India
Xiaomi on Tuesday, announced that it will be holding two seperate flash sale for its Redmi 1s and Redmi Note 4G on January 6. This is the first time Xiaomi is offering two seperate handsets in a single flash sale on the same day. The announcement was made by Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain on twitter.
Xiaomi Head Manu Jain also announced the Redmi Note 4G users can redeem a free micro-SIM card try and screen protector from Xiaomi's website by entering IMEI number of the handset.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G went on sale in India on Tuesday for the first time with 40,000 units up for grabs. The handset was sold out in just six seconds. To recap Xiaomi was banned from selling its handsets in India for infringing Ericsson's patents. Delhi High court lifted the ban and Xiaomi resumed its sales operations. The terms specified allow the company to sell Qualcomm-powered smartphones in India until January 8th. The Redmi Note with 3G support was banned from selling, since it used a MediaTek chipset.

The Redmi Note 4G will be up for grabs in the first flash sale and will kick off at 2PM IST, while the Redmi 1s will be up for grabs in the second flash sale and will kick off at 5PM IST on January 6.
