Meizu unveils 10,000mAh Power Bank with two-way fast charging and Depth-VR
Meizu at the launch event of MX5 also introduced a new 10000mAh power bank and. It sports a minimalistic design and promises 93% charging conversion rate. Inside the power bank there is a lithium-ion polymer batteries, that comes from Chinese battery manufacturer Amperex Technology Limited that also supplies batteries for Apple.
The power bank has LED indicators to show battery status, micro-USB charging port and a USB port. It comes with two-way fast charging, so that you can charge the power bank and also the device connected to it. Meizu says, the MX5 can be charged up to 58 percent in 30 minutes and 100 percent in just 83 minutes.
To ensure it withstands rough handling, Meizu has given it 11 stages of protection. It has 5V-2A or 9V/12V-2A input and 5V-2A output for normal charging and 9V-2A / 12V-1.5A output for fast charging.
Meizu also unveiled VR glasses with moniker Depth-VR, which actually resembles Google Cardboard. It is priced 49 Yuan (US$ 8 | Rs. 500). The Meizu Power Bank is priced at 149 Yuan (US$ 23 | Rs. 1500), and it will be available for purchase starting July 31st. There is no word on global roll out.
