Lenovo Yoga Book tablet doubles as a sketchpad

Along with Yoga 910 convertible notebook and Yoga Tab 3 Plus, Lenovo has introduced Yoga Book at IFA 2016, Berlin. The Yoga Book combines tablet style screen with a digital keyboard (called Halo keyboard), which doubles as a sketchpad (called 'Create Pad') for drawing and writing using stylus.

The Halo Keyboard is a full touch screen backlit keyboard with built in, sensitive haptic technology. Lenovo says that the keyboard learns and adapts to the typing habits of its users, with built-in prediction and artificial learning software.

It comes with real pen, a dual-use stylus, that lets your write on paper since it holds real ink tips or can be used as a stylus when used with Create Pad for writing and drawing. The real pen can draw with precision of a pencil or paint brush with 2048 pressure levels and 100-degree angle detection.

Similar to other Yoga series devices, the Yoga Book comes with a hinge that lets you use it in laptop, tent, stand and tablet mode. The Yoga Book is 9.6mm thick and weighs just 690g, which means it is easy to carry around.

Coming to the specs the Yoga Book has 10.1-inch 1080p display, Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. For connectivity there's 4G LTE, SIM slot, WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth. It is fueled by 8500mAh battery, that promises up to 15 hours of usage time.
