For sometime now, we have been hearing about PC-on-Stick. The first one was Intel's Compute Stick that was launched at CES 2015 earlier this year.
Than there is iBall Splendo, Lenovo's ideacentre Stick 300 and Archos PC Stick, all pocket sized device that can transform any HDMI compatible TV or monitor into a
fully functioning Windows-based PC and all feature onboard storage of 32GB.
Intel is expected to launch a 64GB of Compute Stick later this year. But before that Japan's Mouse computer is offering a 64GB model of the PC-On-Stick. Dubbed Mouse Computer MS-NH1, it is a tiny PC on Stick with an Intel Atom Z3735F Bay Trial Processor aided by 2GB RAM and microSD card slot for storage expansion. There is also a 32GB model.
The 32GB model runs Windows 8.1 with Bing while the 64GB model runs Windows 8.1 Pro with Bing. That means the 64GB model has BitLocker data protection, Microsoft's Remote Desktop software and other enterprise features.
It has a HDMI connector on one end that lets you plug it into the HDMI port of your TV or monitor to enjoy a full fledged PC. There is also WiFi, micro-USB port and Bluetooth connectivity. It runs Windows software.
The Mouse Computer MS-NH1 32GB and 64GB model are priced at 19,800 yen (US$160) and 39,800 yen ($322) respectively.
